Mirrors possess a canny ability to radiate the past, present and future all at the same time,
With one glance, it’s very possible to see all three.
Though you exist every day as “be” the present,
I am quite sure that you have at times reflected on your past: tainted or pleasurable,
Or may have pre-played your future whether indecisive or crystal clear,
Each step is influenced by where you are right now.
Your future is influenced by where you are spiritually, emotionally and physically.
How do you feel about yourself?
Do you like your body, your skin tone, your hair the way you speak or the way you sway your hips?
The answers to all of these questions have one thing in common…
Love—learning to love yourself.
Life is about being happy with whom you are and not letting society or people dictate what you will become,
Despite what was ever spoken into the canal of your ears.
The bottom line is who are you and how do you feel about you?
This is the premise and foundation of what you give and may display to others.
Don’t cheat yourself out of life feeling guilty for saying, “I am beautiful, I am woman”
You are the standard!
The standard is you,
No matter if you are white, black, and tall, short, curvaceous or thin,
You my sister are love and love is you,
So love yourself that others may experience what love truly is…
The radiance of God demonstrated through you.
