Encouraging One Person at a Time

You’re Life as a Seed
By Savaslas Lofton

John 12:27
Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.

Jesus was sent to the world not to live, but to die that WE may live. His desire while He yet abode, was to ONLY do the will of God. In other words, complete with success, His divine purpose in life; so much we. God may have gifted us to do many things, but we are sent to the world for one thing or shall I say for one purpose or destiny. The life that lives and falls short of this purpose, regardless of how happy the individual may have been in life, was unfulfilled. For example, what purpose is it to by a flat screen television only to paint something on its screen or canvas and hang it up, never utilizing its features, or viewing its content? Regardless of how beautiful the art work had become, the flat screen television still fell short of its purpose, not because of it’s inability to communicate a great piece of art work, but for the simple fact that it did not live up to the name of its owner or manufacturer. It is so easy to become busy doing so many things that in all actuality, you are doing NO-THING. Does an apple tree produce oranges, or an orange tree produce watermelons, certainly not; but we as people or children of God find ourselves producing, but not after the purpose and divine calling of God. God has instilled in us a creative ability. Therefore, we are responsible for the world that we have created both personally and geographically. Our lives are as a result of the decisions that we have made and the things that we have believed. What is the one purpose that you came in the world? Jesus not only knew this question all to well, but He made it His life’s passion. It is not God’s will that our lives become as over ripened seeds that never produce 100 fold. It is as a harvest that we are to die as, not a seed. If it’s one life that you are called to or millions of lives, let the impact that you make be such a one as Jesus, that even after 2000 years of the legacy of ministry and excellence, His life and passion is still affecting the lives of nations, making Him not only the Savior of the World but the Greatest man in earth and in Heaven.
